This stunning vintage Art Deco jug was made in the 1930s by Sowerby. Designed with a classic 30s sway and column design from cool green coloured pressed glass it is the perfect way to make any table setting sing. Sowerby, founded in 1846, was based in Gateshead, England. By 1882 the factory employed 1000 people, and was one of the largest glass factories in the world. They manufactured several Art Deco glass designs in the 1930s, but finally closed their doors in 1972.
