This stunning early 70s vintage dress from Jean Varon is another timeless piece. The rich bottle green (the photographs do not do the lovely colour justice) overlay has a fun fruit print with a vertical black geometric chevron pattern running down. This oversized smock prairie dress has an incredible ruffled high neck which is mirrored at the ends of the short sleeves and is gathered under the bust to allow the fabric to flow and swish in a fabulous way. It has a pretty plum coloured taffeta style lining. It is fastened at the back with a zip to the neck – sewn into the plum lining. The movement and swish of the dress as you move is really beautiful.
